- The mood. - Yeah. Yeah. It's hashtag mood. - [Andy] Seeing the garage and the house both painted, with the trim and the lights and everything on, it just makes it look like ...
It makes it look like the house is always supposed to look. Does that make sense? - [Candice] Yeah! - [Andy] It looks like the house has always wanted to look. - Yeah, I think so too. And I think that when we do historic houses, it can very quickly go maybe a little too grandma, or like, you can go the other way and go too modern, modern as in too much. - Yeah! - [Candice] But I really think, with the color that they chose, we're walking this like, perfect little balance of modern enough that it feels new and fresh, but still historic enough that it like pays homage to the home. - [Andy] Yeah, if you put this house on a postcard from 1930 it wouldn't look out of place, and that's what we strive for. - [Candice] Yeah online pokies microgaming nz. Definitely. - [Andy] Those three surfboards on the garage, besides representing their logo, are just really cool to look at. - [Candice] Oh, they are like, I've been told, they are very, very nice surfboards. - We wouldn't know but that's what we've been told. - We should learn to surf for the next like, week that we're here. - Yeah. - Sure. They are really beautiful surfboards, they look great on the wall, they are nice and secure obviously. The porch turned out so cute. Just that little bit of furniture, it really made it feel like an outdoor living space and their porch was big enough to accommodate it so that -- - [Andy] But it feels bigger than it did before, with the white railing -- - [Candice] Yeah! - [Andy] For some reason, it feels like a bigger space up there. - [Candice] We put just a few plants on the ground level porch area. We thought that would be kind of a nice place to sit in the shade when it's super sunny here, it will be a nice little retreat. - Yeah, and the plants really add a lot. The yard has a lot of landscaping. - Yeah. - Has a lot of beautiful green plants. So adding more, just blended in with what's already here. - [Candice] We kept all the old windows that were here, and that to me, is super super special. We do have A/C in the house, and everyone's like, "is that as efficient as it could be?" but we got the most efficient system possible. And it's gonna be awesome. Those windows are actually really, really nice. - [Andy] They are. And they all have functioning hardware, and frames and glass. So to be able to preserve that is really, really cool. We wouldn't have it any other way. - You can see the little bit of wave in the glass. - Little bit of bubble glass, they're gonna love it. - Oh my gosh. - They have good taste. - They, they.. (laughter) - [Andy] So the hurricane is completely gone, thanks a lot Hector! We got a lot of rain, and wind, and surf out of it, but we ended up getting a beautiful day after it. - [Candice] Beautiful, beautiful day. And we are one step closer to showing this to the Gees. We only have one room left in the house. And that's kind of like the biggest room in the whole house, it's the living/dining area, and just prepare, because I'm gonna cry the whole time. (laughter) - It's gonna get messy. (chuckles) - [Candice] I Can't wait for the Gees to see this house! I think it's going to be a beautiful welcome when we take the blindfolds off and the first thing they see is this pristine exterior that's been worked on by so many people who've put in their love and effort into it. One more week you guys! I'm freaking out! - This is it! Down to the wire. (exhales) - We only have one room left. I can do this. - Totally. - If we can survive a hurricane warning-- (laughter) So we can finish one more room. - As a kid I would say: (exhales) I can do this. - I can do this. (laughter) Okay guys, thank you so much for watching. And a very special thank you to Vivint smarthome, without them, this whole show, as you know, would not be possible. They've been amazing to work with from beginning to end. - And we have a Vivint Smarthome system at our own house, it's been awesome to be able to keep up on what's going on at home when we're not there, and we really do love it. - So they have made it very easy for you to get your own Smarthome at your own house, so you can either go to Vivint.com/bucketlist or click the link below or call the 1-800 number and talk to a real person. Okay guys, we'll see you next week! Bye!
