Prepare for any upcoming Interviews There is little more important to a job hunter than taking full advantage of the opportunities you have already created. If you have Interviews already lined up:
2. Research for Open Market Vacancies To find more Vacancies you need to know where they are advertised or held, and how to find the companies and agencies advertising.
3. Identify more Target Companies If you can find where the Open Market Vacancies are, so can other Candidates… Identifying target Companies and Agencies to approach directly as “speculative” applications demonstrates a higher level of proactiveness.
4. Sort out your Networking Weekends are the perfect time to identify and reach out to those you may not have had time to speak with all week. Most people attack their mailbox first thing on Mondays, so they’ll be more likely to get back to you before they get busy for the rest of the week. Allocate time to network on 3 levels:
5. Update something / Get noticed People don’t always notice what is in front of them, but they do usually notice things that have changed.
